Hi all

its my birthday today (woohoo 36 and heading downhill!!!)

and I am going to choose myself a tablet computer and a new iron (be still!) with some vouchers for currys.

i find the touch screen on my phone is getting much more use than the lap top these days.

originally looked at the ipad2
but now preferring the asus eee transform

have any of you invested in one
they are a lot of ££

Hope you are having a happier day than you anticipated Jenni and there is an occasion to say "Cheers!"

My Dad (83!) bought a tablet just before Christmas which was just over £100 in Argos and he thinks it's great. Not sure of the make but I can have a look tomorrow.

Hi Jenni,

Happy Birthday. It has been a while since I have been on the forum so was catching up a little today on some of the threads and sorry to see you have still be having a rough time. Hopefully a nice new birthday present will help.

My v. Generous husband bought me an iPad as an attempt to drag me into this century and whilst I complained that I really didn't want one I LOVE IT !!!!!! I would be lost without it. Hope you enjoy your new toy, which ever you decide to go for.....as for the iron ... You are on your own there !!!!!! Jo x
